Harman Kardon HD990 and HK990 Reviewed by Best Buys and Home Theatre
The HK 990 integrated amplifer and HD 990 CD player have been reaping in the praise from international reviewers and media - and now Australian magazine Best Buys and Home Theatre has put the power duo to the test in a detailed review.
Best Buys reviewed the HK 990 and HD 990 in its Winter 2009 edition, with the reviewer clearly impressed by the raw power delivered by the HK 990. Teamed with the incredibly full featured HD 990, the reviewer reported that "sounds leapt forth from the speakers without distortion or compression, as fresh and immediate as the day they were recorded."
The editors conclusion? "Components that punch so far above their weight become instantly famous. Now, for the first time we can remember, a manufacturer has pulled off the double by delivering two such components at the same time. It really doesn't get any better than this!"
