"Here I am getting so carried away with the midrange and high-frequency performance that I've neglected to mention the bass, which would have been an oversight and a half because despite having praised the truly exceptional performance of the midrange and treble, it is the bass that is probably the LS80's greatest strength. And when I say 'strength' I mean to use the literally, in that the bass is strong, so that it acts as a solid foundation on which to build a true musical performance"
