Don’t think of video scaling as an extra expense.  Think of it as an investment in your existing video library.  The AVR 247 is the most affordable Harman Kardon® receiver to upscale video signals to the high-res 720p standard.  But wait, there’s more.  It features two HDMI™ inputs and EzSet/EQ™ technology.  And, like all Harman Kardon® receivers, it features a high-current, ultrawide-bandwidth design for maximum fidelity.  It is the ideal receiver to rescue your pre-HD DVDs?  That’s a call only you can make.

Harman Kardon BDP 10 - A Price Hit with Format

Harman Kardon has received a positive review from Digital Lifestyle magazine for its very first Blu-ray player, the Harman Kardon BDP 10 (to be released in Australia late 2009).

The magazine tested the new player and was clearly surprised by the outstanding picture quality, the design and the excellent cost/performance ratio, grading the player with “great” and calling it a real “price tip.” The player supports not only Blu-ray discs but also DVDs and CDs, a feature that allows it to keep up with all other products on the market. However, this one comes with a special feature: the BD-Live™ capability, which allows you to download ringtones, games and other content from the Internet directly to your player and marks a new era of players.

Harman Kardon BDP 10

"The BDP 10 is Harman Kardon’s first Blu-ray Disc player and comes with a wide-bandwidth component video output, a front-panel USB jack for external USB hard drives and an RJ-45 Ethernet jack for easy connection to a broadband network. In addition, the player features a two-channel analog audio output, two digital outputs and a composite video output. This player is not only a Blu-ray Disc player. It also marks a new generation of players with the BD-Live interactivity, which allows you to download games, ringtones and other content from the Internet directly to the BDP 10."
